Disam Dev Satra has great historical significance. Situated in Rupai TE (Jutulibari village), this is the first ‘Satra’ in the upper Assam. Earlier known as the Mayamora Tipuk Satra, this is the Holy place of Moamorria Moran tribe and was established in 17th Century. In the year of 2003, the Satra was renamed as "Disam Dev Satra".
